KFDA to strengthen safeguards for children taking paroxetine

The Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) said on March 5 that it will closely monitor the possibility of an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behavior (suicidality) in children and adolescents being treated with an antidepressant paroxetine.
