CJ set to take over Hanil Pharm

CJ, the nation's largest food manufacturer, is close to clinching a deal to take over the finance-troubled Hanil Pharm, industry sources and company officials said.

Hanil Pharm signed a memorandum of understanding with CJ in 2004 for the latter's possible acquisition.
