A novel 14th form of vitamin was discovered by the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) led by Kato research team, which was 55 years after Umetaro Suzuki isolated Oryzanin, or vitamin B1, from rice bran in 1910 for the first time in the world.
