KFDA grants new indication for MRI contrast agent, Gadovist

The Korea Food and Drug Administration has recently agreed to expand the indication for Bayer Healthcare’s gadolinium-based contrast agent for MR imaging, Gadovist 1.0 (gadobutrol injection). Gadovist can now be used in whole body, including lung, heart, abdomen and musculoskeletal system.
