640 essential medicines to exempt from price-cut plan

A total of 640 essential drugs, including amino acid infusions, will be excluded from the government’s plan to slash the price of about half the drugs on the market by an average of 14 percent from April, according to the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA).
