Health ministry to get tougher on medicines in pregnancy

Doctors or pharmacists will not be allowed to prescribe or dispense any medicines deemed to be unsafe during pregnancy as part of firmly establishing drug utilization review (DUR) system, according to the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family Affairs.
