Korea's R&D spending to exceed 10 trillion won this year

The Ministry of Science and Technology says that the government is planning to spend around 10.8 trillion won on state-funded R& D projects this year, which is more than double the amount it spent in 2001, and a 10-percent increase from last year.

To that end, the ministry held an information session at the Seoul Education Culture Hall on January 22, with related government agencies.
