Il Yang announced on April 16 that "beta-immunan", an orally administered immunity anti-cancer drug, had been successfully developed from Ganoderma lucidum (a mushroom) extract, and its therapeutic efficacy was proved by Dr. Lee Chung-ok of the Korea Institute of Chemistry and Dr. Ahn Won-keun of Kyungbuk Univ. department of biology.
