Doctors still overprescribe medicine
Korean doctors continue to overprescribe drugs to patients over frequently-treated five diseases, said an official from the health ministry on October 30.
In a recent survey of 17,621 hospitals and clinics nationwide by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, doctors at clinic prescribe more than four drugs per patient on average, which outnumbers the case in advanced countries by two times.
