State-run medical institutions to prescribe drugs by generic name in September
Health and Welfare Minister Byun Jae-jin reaffirmed a plan that the National Medical Center would introduce the controversial system of prescribing medicines by generic name from next month, regardless of vehement opposition in medical circle.
