KFDA warns pediatric suicide risk on 208 antidepressants
The Korea Food and Drug Administration said on May 15 it instructed pharmaceutical firms to attach a stricter warning about the risk of suicide in pediatric patients when labeling antidepressants.
Manufacturers of 208 antidepressants, including Paxil, CR will be obliged to attach warnings that the dosage of such tablets can increase suicidal impulses for patients aged 2 to 24.
