Government urged to withdraw FTA trade-off deal

In its official statement on February 12, the Health Right Network, a civic group for the people's health, called on the Korean government to withdraw from the free-trade agreement (FTA) trade-off deal, to this effect that Korea could compromise with the U.S. by giving wider access to Korea's auto and pharmaceutical markets if U.S. trade rules are changed.
