Pharmaceutical exports top $1.29 billion in 2006

Korea posted $1.29 billion in its drug export in 2006, up 13 percent compared with $1.15 billion a year earlier, while pharmaceutical imports in the same period surged to $4.4 billion, according to the Korea Pharmaceutical Traders Association (KPTA).
