New drug purchase credit card plan to hit snag

The Ministry of Health and Welfare said on January 9 it decided to withdraw a new plan to introduce a drug purchase credit card system in the face of strong opposition from medical/pharmaceutical circles.

As an option to modernize the domestic drug distribution system, the government has geared up the plan to establish the card system, but the rate of fees is still in controversy.
