48% of the total drugs in Korea were produced at a value of less than 100 million won a year, implying a necessity for massive product transformations.

The KPMA report revealed that the total 16,061 products were produced in 2005 including 7,795 products with less than 100 million won of production value, which was 48.5% of the total drugs in number.
