Drug identification system to be compulsory for non-reimbursable OTCs

The Korea Food and Drug Administration said on January 2 that it would revise the current drug identification system, in which manufacturers of over-the-counter (OTC) drugs will be required to indicate their OTC dosage forms by using a company marking plus product marking via company logo or number, which may be distinctively different from others.
