Pharmacies urged to be alert over contraindicated drugs

Pharmacies will required to confirm a list of contraindicated medicines during dispensing, as the Ministry of Health and Welfare will release a list of such drugs to individual patients, as well as medical institutions, from December 26.

The ministry said it plans to announce hospitals' contraindicated usage as part of an effort to provide correct information about such medicines.
