Lawmaker vows to block KFDA's shut-down bill

Rep. Moon-hee reaffirmed her determination to block a bill to disband the Korea Food and Drug Administration and create a new food agency, as the National Assembly's Government Administration and Home Affairs subcommittee will further review the bill on November 30.

Moon said the establishment of the new food safety agency would increase the number of government organization only.
