Compulsory pediatric safety proof containers to be extended.

The safety proof containers for children should be extended for the pediatric drugs containing ingredients such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen instead of conventional blister packs, which should be designed for the children of less than 5 years old not easily to open, taking effect from Nov. 12, the KFDA announced a provision on Oct. 19.
