Safety proved drugs classified as non-professional drugs.

The KPMA suggested to the MOHW that it should be classified as a general drug (non-prescription drug) if the drug having formulated with new ingredients for the first time in Korea had been sufficiently proved its safety and efficacy and classified as a general drug in the foreign country.
