Drug safety information center to be formed

With the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) to be disbanded and its responsibilities assigned to a new and an existing agency, the Ministry of Health and Welfare said recently it is considering a new establishment of a drug safety information center to monitor the safety of drugs.
