Korea's drug spending lowest in OECD

Koreans were found to have spent the least on drug expenditure among advanced countries.

The country's pharmaceutical expenditure per capita was equivalent to 49 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2004, the average level among the 30 members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), according to a report released by a local organization.
