Wholesaler bankruptcy is still high

The number of insolvent wholesalers has been still increasing as of August 28 with a similar trend of last year as many wholesalers are unable to repay their borrowings amid a sluggish domestic economy, according to Yakup Shinmoon citing the data of Korea Drug Wholesaler Association.

The wholesaler bankruptcies are expected to further strain already weak domestic consumption.
