Major pharmaceutical firm report strong profit in first half

Korea's major drug makers reported a strong net profit in the first half of this year, driven by robust sales of drugs and thrift management.

Dong-A Pharm earned 16.1 billion won in net profit for the first half, up 11.7 percent from the same period a year ago.
