800 OTCs with combined ingredients to be excluded from health insurance

The government plans to ask the national health insurance to cover only 100 OTCs with mixed components from this September, while 800-odd items, such as antipyretics, analgesics & anti-inflammatory agents, antacids and drugs on peptic ulcer, will be excluded from a list of insurance-covered drugs.
