Government to boost medical service industry

In a plan to boost the medical service industry, the Presidential Commission on Healthcare Industry and Innovation announced on November 11 that from late this year it will pursue a new system called Pay for Performance, which aims at giving more compensations derived from health insurance to the hospitals that are found to be providing high-quality services.
