Korean man's smoking rate declined by 10% in 2 years.

The Gallup survey revealed that Korean adult man smokers declined every year from 57.8% in Sept. 2004 to 47.5% in Sept. 2005, showing about 10% point down in 2 years. As of June 6, 2006 the rate broke the level of 50% to make 1.7% down just in 3 months.
