893 high-priced prescription drugs subject to intensive review in second quarter

A total of 893 high-priced ethical drugs with different brand-names will be subject to the government's intensive review from the second quarter of this year as part of its plan to induce the prescription of cost-effective drugs from hospitals and medical clinics, according to the Health Insurance Review Agency (HIRA).
