Samjin to file patent of new therapeutic compound for C hepatitis.

Samjin has filed the patent registration to the Patent Office for a new pyrimidinedione derivative developed by Central Research Institute as an anti-viral agent, having an anti-viral activity against C hepatitis virus, which may lead to the possible prevention and treatment of C hepatitis by suppressing adverse transcriptional enzymes and viral entry into a host cell.
