In the occasion of "the 5th Week of Hypertension" the Korea Society of Hypertension conducted a survey on "Recognition of hypertension and behavior pattern" against 500 men and 500 women aged 45 to 69 across the nation.

The survey reported that one in very 2 respondents (46%) paid keen interests in hypertension, which was higher in the population living in urban areas and aged older.
