The Heath Insurance Review Agency (HIRA) indicated in a written answer to the recent question raised by Rep. Kim Seon-mi of National Assembly that the prices of general new drugs listed in the NHI (National Health Insurance) reimbursement schedule were determined at the level of 57% from those prevailed in 7 advanced countries.

The prices of top NHI 50 drugs billed in 2004 showed about 99.5%...
