There are nearly 3,000 or more of drugs to be substituted for the brand drugs in the pharmacy under the government's incentive plan to encourage dispense cheaper generic drugs.

The plan provides about 30% incentives on the price difference of the substituted drug and its original brand drug to the pharmacy when dispensing it without prior agreement of the prescribed physician.
