Deleterious herbal drugs not to classify as prescription drugs.

In responding to the inquiry raised by Rep. Kang Ki-jeong of National Assembly about which deleterious herbal drugs such as Ephedra herba and Aconiti tuber should be classified as a prescription drug, the KFDA said it not a right time to review and consider on Oct. 11, since those herbal drugs had been used after the maximum attenuation of its toxicity.
