Boryung announced on Aug. 10 that two patents were registered in Korea including a purification process for Tamsulosin, a drug for prostate enlargement, characterized in which a tamsulosin carboxylate salt with 99.0% of high quality be prepared by using carboxylic acid and then converting it to tamsulosin hydrochloride by adding hydrochloric acid.
