OTC drug productions ever dwindling.

The production of OTC (non-prescription) drugs showed ever declining trend during the past 15 years according to the KPMA's production statistics.
The production ratio of the non-prescription vs. prescription drugs at 60 to 40 in 1990s now turned to reverse at 29 to 71 in 2004 after the peak at 58.2% in 1993. The rate declined from 46.7% in 1999 to 39.6% in 2000, 37.2% in 2001, 33% in 2002, ...
