More People Quit Smoking after Recent Cigarette Price Increase

Results from a representative survey conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) indicate that 8.3% of adult male smokers have quitted smoking since last year, and the majority of them expressed that their decision to quit was reflective of a recent cigarette price increase.
