Arimidex Continues To Show Better Efficacy Over Tamoxifen

AstraZeneca announced on December 9th the results of the ATAC (Arimidex and Tamoxifen Alone or in Combination) study presented at the 27th San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, which showed that Arimidex (anastrozole; an aromatase inhibitor) is better than tamoxifen in postmenopausal women diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.
