Two foreign vaccine firms hit by administrative dispositions

The Korea Food and Drug Administration announced on November 23 that it meted out a certain amount of fines (corresponding to sales ban for fourth months) to two foreign-invested pharmaceutical firms each for falsely advertising their vaccine products, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Aventis Pasteur Korea, as a result of investigating whether the Korean Pharmaceutical Affairs Law was violated.
