CJ Corp., Hanmi dispute trademark

Hanmi Pharm said it has refused to honor the Korean Intellectual Property Office's decision to grant CJ's trademark Simvasta (simvastatin), noting that the recognition of such trademark similar to a generic name will affect other trademarks imitating generic names.
