Government may allow direct transaction between pharmaceutical firms and hospitals

The government is considering the direct dealing between pharmaceutical firms and medical institutions with more than 100 beds sooner or later, which has been prohibited under the current regulations of Korea Pharmaceutical Affairs Law (No. 7, Paragraph 1, Article 57 of the Enforcement Regulations), a senior official at the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) said on October 12.
