KFDA to inspect sale of PPA-containing cold drugs

A total of 340 inspectors from the Korea Food and Drug Administration and its six regional KFDA agencies, cites/provinces and regional pharmacist associations have begun undertaking the mass crackdown campaign nationwide against the sale of phenylpropanolamine (PPA)-containing cold remedies during six days from October 11, an official from the KFDA said.
