Domestic firms need to develop combined preparations as new chemical form

Pharmaceutical business sources cautioned that Korean companies have to focus on the development of new chemical drugs containing at least two ingredients, as a number of multinational firms are pushing ahead with their R&D projects centered around combined preparations in parallel with steadily growing incidence of adult diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipemia.
