The Health Insurance Review Agency says that as of the end of this June, there are a total of 19,584 pharmacies across the nation, showing a gradual increase compared with 18,494 in May 2002 and 18,974 in May 2003. Currently, a total of 27,166 pharmacists are involved in the operation of pharmacy.
