KFDA said on July 22 it has approved Yuhan Corporation's Amlopin capsule (amlodipine maleate) for the treatment of hypertension and it is the fifth approval of amlodipine generics, following Hanmi's Amodipin (amodipine camsylate), SK Pharm's Scad (amlodipine maleate), Chong Kun Dang's Anidipin (amlodipine maleate) and Choong-wae's Novaropin (amlodipine maleate).
