Korea's finished pharmaceutical output up by 3.4% in 2003

Output of finished pharmaceuticals increased by 3.4 percent to 8.13 trillion won (totaling 15,302 items) in Korea in 2003, driven chiefly by anti-arteriosclerosis agents, antidiabetics and tranquilizers, according to the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.
