While the proposed 6-year pharmacy college education plan has hit snag due to the vehement opposition of the Association of Korean Oriental Medicine (KOMA) during the recent three-way meeting between government, the Korea Pharmaceutical Association and the KOMA, Health Minister Kim Hwa-joong reaffirmed the government’s strong wish to implement the controversial system during her tenure.
