Hanmi to launch first Amlodipine generic soon in Korea.

Hanmi announced on June 9 the approval of Amodipine sale, a new amlodipine modified drug, as the first amlodipine generic in Korea, giving a critical challenge to Norvasc (Pfizer Korea), the top prescription drug in Korea with 150 billion won of sales in 2003 and 30% of the total 500 billion won of anti-hypertension drug market.
