Government to earmark for 2.7 billion won against contagious diseases

The Ministry of Planning and Budget said on April 18 that it will allocate a supplementary budget of 2.7 billion won to the Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) as part of efforts to effective prevent SARS and a variant form of Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease (vCJD).
