Korea's pharmaceutical market seen growing 8.1%this year

The 2004 Korean pharmaceutical market is expected to grow by 8.1 percent, buoyed by the slight increase of OTC sales thanks to recovery of domestic economy and stable selling tune of prescription drugs, according to the management analysis of the domestic pharmaceutical industry conducted by a recently held Task Force Team meeting of the Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association.
