Tightened tax rules hit domestic pharmaceutical firms

Beginning in 2004, the National Tax Service says companies that spend 500,000 won or more entertaining their customers, clients or employees must prove that the meetings are business-related, while people on the receiving end of the free entertainment must be identified in the company's spending records.
